How Do You Feel About a Pastel Christmas Theme?

I am enjoying how creative people are getting with their Christmas themes. Even the color palettes are expanding! A new trend is using pastel colors to decorate for Christmas. I’m not sure how I feel about it, but I am willing to give it a try!

If you think about it, Christmas is another holiday where we consume enormous amounts of candy. I’m excited to start indulging in gumdrops, candy canes, and hot chocolate. I am thinking this is where the pastel Christmas theme comes from. Candy, cute creatures, and Christmas cheer packed together into a glittery magical holiday!

A Candy Wonderland sounds more comforting than a Winter Wonderland. If it involves snuggling under a blanket drinking hot cocoa, I am up for all of it! I bet this is what Santa’s elves drink instead of coffee in the morning.

These little gumdrop ornaments are perfect for a mini tree. They measure about an inch, so they are quite small! There are all kinds of dessert ornaments you can place throughout your home with decorations by Taffy Kat Boutique. You can place them in a homemade pastel wreath or on your mantle!

Tinsel is an easy and fun way of decorating your home for the holidays. Cozy Cabin Crafting luckily, has pastel tinsel you can use for your Christmas tree or the house. The multi-tonal tinsel is my favorite!

If I didn’t know any better, I would have assumed these were plushies. Ashley Rae Designs has created soft and cute pastel Christmas ornaments for your home. The extra fluff makes the trees look like they are covered in snow! These look cozy!

The Gum Drop Sugar Shop has all kinds of vintage pastel holiday decorations! For instance, these adorable lollipops. Did you notice they are sticking out from a cake base? They are so cute. I love how many colors there are to choose from!
